Insurance Authority’s visit to National Financial Regulatory Administration

Mr Stephen Yiu, Chairman of the Insurance Authority (IA) and Mr Clement Cheung, Chief Executive Officer of the IA met with Mr Li Yunze, the Minister of National Financial Regulatory Administration (NFRA) and secretary of NFRA CPC committee in Beijing on 25 July 2023.

During the meeting, both sides had in-depth and candid exchanges on a number of topics including the latest development of Mainland and Hong Kong insurance markets, strengthening regulatory co-operation, enhancing connectivity within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Hong Kong’s role as a global risk management centre.
