The Insurance Authority (IA) today (20 March 2025) wishes to alert members of the public to a fraudulent website with the domain name of “hxxps://aiahk88[. ]com”. The aforesaid fraudulent website purports to be the official website of an authorized insurer of Hong Kong, AIA International Limited (AIA), with the intention of obtaining customers’ login details. AIA has confirmed that it has no connection with the fraudulent website.
The case has been reported to the Hong Kong Police Force for further investigation. Anyone who has provided personal information to the aforesaid website or has conducted any insurance transactions through the website should call AIA Customer Service Hotline at (852) 2232-8888, and report the case to the Hong Kong Police Force.
